Entry for 's 1st annual calendar contest.
I just barely made this one. Found out about the competition only a couple months ago just as school was about to begin again, so at first I dismissed the idea from my mind knowing full-well I'd have no time.
Then I saw the prizes.
I should get punched in the face for my silly fangirl idiocy, but damn...Melora knows how to provide INCENTIVE. So, I started thinking of ideas, and there are rough sketches in my sketchbook of all this things I wanted to do...I could've gone in so many directions. But when it came down to it, I had to chose something I could 1) do the lines for in class, and 2) color fairly quickly with minimal issues.
There wasn't much time for experimentation.
Literally started on the final product two days before the deadline - working on it rabidly in between work and school.
Holy hell, man...where there's a will, there's a way, y'know?

And I cranked this out.

The idea revolves around how the Zelda universe holds music very sacred, and Farore, Din, and Nayru are celebrating its significance as the creators.

coloring - photoshop 7; 10 hrs (approximate - including a night of no sleep )
